The collector's print #509/950 was originally purchased framed from Stephan Fine Arts Gallery in Anchorage-Alaska. The framing is uniquely done in double-stripe acid-free mats with a grey solid, heavy wood frame.
The print and framing are in mint conditon.
One of the best memories of my photographic career was this face to face encounter with a timber wolf in Denali National Park. Photographing wolves in the wild is difficult. They are shy and often wary of humans. Still, this particular wolf paid little attention to me. He was intent on hunting ground squirrels which is tiring work on a hot summer day. After failing to unearth any rodents he plopped down in a patch of wildflowers and stared my direction.
